Henriot Enchanteleurs Champagne Paired With 3 Caviars from Lady Elena Caviar

1996 Henriot Enchanteleurs Champagne


Background:

The blend is 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay.

Wine Notes:

The champagne has a golden color and is filled with non stop streaming tiny bubbles. There is a creamy yeasty caramel aroma with notes of sweet fruit and soft minerality. This flows through to the palate in another layer with lemon curd and some nuttiness. The finish is long with caramel and notes of some black fruit.

Lady Elena Caviar Pairing:

 O My Setra Caviar (Russian Sturgeon Osetra): The 1996 Henriot Enchanteleurs champagne.covers over the caviar and finishes with a caramel creaminess. A great Lady Elena Caviar pairing.


Americana Caviar (White Sturgeon):The 1996 Henriot Enchanteleurs champagne cleanses the palate with some remaining dryness. A good Lady Elena Caviar pairing.


The 8th Pearl Caviar (Kaluga Hybrid): The 1996 Henriot Enchanteluers champagne covers over the caviar with softened sweetened caramel lingering on the finish with some dryness. A good Lady Elena Caviar pairing.
