Ayala Brut Majeur NV Champagne

Background

The champagne is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir 40%, Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. The champagne ages on its lees for an average of three years. It has a dosage of 7g/l with 12% ABV.

Wine Notes

The champagne has a golden straw color with tiny streaming bubbles creating a multi strand pearl necklace at the top of the glass. There are aromas of fresh pear, lemon, biscuit and salty minerals. On the palate it is floral with some coconut sweetness and nuttiness showing. The finish has a minerally driven softness and is dry.

Americana Caviar (White Sturgeon):As the Ayala Brut Majeur NV champagne covers the palate there is a soft mouth feel with increased nuttiness. A great caviar and champagne pairing.
