2013 Seifried Riesling from Nelson, New Zealand

Background:

2013 Seifried Riesling and Americana Caviar
The grapes are sourced from the vineyards of Brightwater and Redwood Valley in Nelson, New Zealand. The grapes from the Brightwater vineyard gives the wine its floral varietal character while the grapes from the Redwood vineyard gives the wine more body on the palate.

Wine Notes:
The wine has a pale straw color with green tints.. There are aromas of stony smokey minerals with ripe apricots and peaches. On the palate it is fruit filled and with a little zesty lemon. The wine has a light body feel keeping the wine more floral than sweet. The finish is bone dry.

Americana caviar (White Sturgeon): The wine washes over the caviar and leaves your mouth as bone dry as enjoying the wine by itself.
