Banking With 2014 Bordeaux Wines at Cipriani NYC

When you have over 100 wine producers from Bordeaux at the same location there is only one place that is safe for them and their wines.

The 2017 Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux tasting  was held at the Cipriani event venue in New York City with the 2014 vintage was being presented. This is an old bank which includes the original Teller Windows in their original locations.

Brunello di Montalcino Comes to New York With the 2012 Vintage

The next exciting date after Christmas is when the Consorzio Del Vino Brunello Di Montalcino comes to New York to show the world for the first time their newly released vintages. This year the vintages being shown were the 2015 Rosso di Monatalcino and the 2012 Brunello di Montacino.

Every year a tasting committee from the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino evaluates the wines Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Moscadello di Montalcino and Sant’Antimo in the month of January from the latest harvest.

The declaration of the vintage is noted in1 to 5 stars.

The 2012 vintage earned 5 stars and the 2015 vintage also earned 5 stars from the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino.

The Proof is in the Glass

 The 2012 vintage is a great vintage as is the 2010 vintage. Watch for the clearance sales on the 2010 vintage to make room for the newest 5 star vintage of 2012. There is elegance to be found in many of these well structured 2012 Brunello's.
